Flexicose® is generally well tolerated as they are nutraceuticals, not pharmaceuticals. You should not take Flexicose® if you are allergic to shellfish or are taking Warfarin. If you are pregnant or nursing, always consult with your physician before starting any supplement. Always inform your doctor or pharmacist of any drug and/or supplement you are taking to prevent possible interactions.

Q. Does DTC Health follow United States Pharmacopeia (USP) testing standards?
Yes. Flexicose® is manufactured in the USA at a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) facility which ensures that all testing is in accordance with USP standards. The facility is also inspected by the Department of Health and Senior Services and the Consumer Environmental Health for maintenance of sanitary conditions. It is a good idea to make sure that you only purchase nutraceuticals that are produced in such a facility. Each ingredient in Flexicose® is selected based on quality and stability. Microbiological evaluations are also conducted to confirm the absence of things like yeast, mold, salmonella, E. Coli, BSE, Staphylococcus Aureus, Pseudomonas Aerunginosa, Mercury, etc. Every batch has strict quality controls to ensure that all of the ingredients listed on the label are in fact included in the exact dosages stated. These quality controls include quality specifications and raw material specification documentation to confirm that things such as the pH and assay are within acceptable limits.

Q. Why liquid glucosamine over tablets or pills?
Liquid formulas, aside from being easier to swallow, have another very important benefit. Unlike pills, liquid may be absorbed as soon as it enters the stomach. It is not uncommon to have pills pass right through the body with the engraving marks still visible. Liquids are also easy to administer to pets because you can simply pour it over their food.

Q. What does Flexicose® taste like?
Flexicose® has a mixed berry flavor. Most customers drink Flexicose® directly from the bottle and some choose to mix it with their favourite beverage. The owners of DTC put it directly in their orange juice at breakfast. Other customers have reported success with putting Flexicose® in orange juice, grapefruit juice, coffee, cranberry juice, Crystal light®, soda, etc. You are free to "doctor it up" anyway you wish. Because Flexicose® is not glycerin based, it mixes quickly and thoroughly with any beverage. Please be rest assured that you will still get the full benefit and efficacy of Flexicose® no matter how you take it.
